In accordance with paragraph (2) of subsection a. of section 18 of P.L. 2021, c. 16(C.24:6I-35);<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Establish application, licensure, and renewal of licensure fees for cannabis distributors;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Require a cannabis distributor to meet any public health and safety standards, industry best practices, and all applicable regulations established by the commission<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In relation to the fees, the legislation requires that they comply with the following:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They shall be in the form of a schedule that imposes a greater fee for premises with more square footage; and<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Shall be deposited in the \u201cCannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization Fund\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">A person who has been issued a license or <a href=\"https:\/\/cannabisindustrylawyer.com\/new-jersey-conditional-cannabis-license\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conditional license<\/a> shall display the license or conditional license at the premises at all times when cannabis items are being warehoused.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1>Competitive Application Process:<\/h1>\n<p>Once <a href=\"https:\/\/cannabisindustrylawyer.com\/new-jersey-cannabis-licensing-application-solutions\/\">New Jersey&#8217;s application<\/a> phase is done, CRC will review all the applications sent for the whole year starting Sept 27, 2023.They will reject all of the applicants that failed to prove their eligibility.
