A manufacturer license is necessary in order to open an adult-use cannabis dispensary in the state of New Mexico.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What does a New Mexico cannabis manufacturer license allow you to do?\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>A cannabis manufacturer license license allows\u00a0a person or entity to <\/strong><strong>works with cannabis in the manufacture process. Specifically<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manufacturing cannabis products<\/li>\n<li>Packaging cannabis products<\/li>\n<li>Having cannabis products tested by a testing laboratory<\/li>\n<li>Purchasing, acquiring, selling or transporting wholesale cannabis products to other cannabis establishments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>How to obtain a New Mexico cannabis manufacturer license?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As of now, the\u00a0Cannabis Control Division\u00a0(CCD) has not established licensing regulations, however, as time goes by, the CCD will update its page with specific information about all license types.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>What are the fees to obtain New Mexico cannabis manufacturer license?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To get a cannabis manufacturer license, every applicant must pay a fee of up to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) per year, and an additional fee of one thousand dollars ($1,000) per year for each licensed location.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Specific licensing requirements\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A person or entity interested in applying and obtaining a cannabis manufacturer license in New Mexico will have to go through an involved process. A person or entity will have to fill out an application for the license.<\/p>\n<p>The specific requirements for this license type have not been published yet. However, all applicants will have to comply with the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Plan<\/li>\n<li>Business Plan<\/li>\n<li>Security Plan<\/li>\n<li>Manufacturing Plan<\/li>\n<li>Recordkeeping Plan<\/li>\n<li>Inventory Plan<\/li>\n<li>Community Benefits Plan<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Preparing a business plan is not a straight-forward process.
